Give me now wisdom and knowledge

2 Chronicles 1:7-12

7 In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.

8 And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.

9 Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, [that is so] great?

11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:

12 Wisdom and knowledge [is] granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that [have been] before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

Parable of the Sower

Matthew 13:3-11

3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

4 And when he sowed, some [seeds] fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

.

The Word of God is only written for those who want to know.

.

Matthew 13:18-23

18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth [it] not, then cometh the wicked [one], and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon (euthus = immediately) with joy receiveth it;

21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by (euthus = immediately) he is offended.

22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

.

Luke 8:11

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

.

Luke 8:15

But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep [it], and bring forth fruit with patience.

My word that goeth forth out of my mouth

Isaiah 55:9-11

9 For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.

They are life unto those that find them

Proverbs 4:20-22
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they [are] life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart

Proverbs 3:1-10
1 My son, forget not my law (my word); but let thine heart keep my commandments (my word):
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear (respect) the LORD, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Wisdom

Proverbs 3:13-18

13 Happy [is] the man [that] findeth wisdom, and the man [that] getteth understanding.

14 For the merchandise of it [is] better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

15 She [is] more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

16 Length of days [is] in her right hand; [and] in her left hand riches and honour.

17 Her ways [are] ways of pleasantness, and all her paths [are] peace.

18 She [is] a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy [is every one] that retaineth her.

4 Their line (message) is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

5 Which [is] as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, [and] rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

9 The fear (respect) of the LORD [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether.

10 More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold:(precious stones) sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

.

1 Corinthians 2:4-6

Evolution

Biological classifications

Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species

.

Genesis 1:11-12

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, [and] the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, (species)* whose seed [is] in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, [and] herb yielding seed after his kind, (species) and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed [was] in itself, after his kind: (species) and God saw that [it was] good.

Genesis 1:21-25

21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, (species) and every winged fowl after his kind: (species) and God saw that [it was] good.

22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, (species) cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: (species) and it was so.

25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, (species) and cattle after their kind, (species) and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: (species) and God saw that [it was] good.

.

* The word kind is the Hebrew word “mîyn” which means species and it occurs ten times in chapter one of Genesis.

Everything after its kind (species), there is no evolution between “species”, God made a law that there can not be any breeding between species and this is why you will never see a cross species animal like a squirrel and a rabbit. God created all and made natural laws to govern the natural world and these laws can not be broken.

There is evolution only within a species. For example by evolution we get tall people, short people, dark people, and light people, because of dominant and recessive traits which are explained with Mendel’s law.

You can get more information on Mendel’s law at.

8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry [land] appear: and it was so.

10 And God called the dry [land] Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that [it was] good.

7 Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom: and with all thy getting get
understanding
.
8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace
her
.
9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall
she
deliver to thee.
10 Hear, O my son, and receive my
sayings
; and the years of thy life shall be many.
11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in
right paths
.
12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; (hindered or impeded) and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.
13 Take fast hold of instruction; let [her] not go: keep her; for
she
[is] thy life.

to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle
.
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
